Match is great for females-not so for men. Unless you are extremely wealthy or extremely handsome, most attractive women will not reach out to you, and usually won't respond to emails. Even worse if you're over 45. Men are competing with a million other men, and attractive women get swamped with emails, winks, etc to the point it's almost unmanageable, so they ignore a lot of what they get. Better off in a bar-a whole lot less competition. Also Match's censorship computer will drive you nuts with constantly rejected profiles if you use the wrong word, regardless of how it was used!

First of all, they charge you for a six month membership all at once. Rip off. Should let you subscribe on a monthly basis. Secondly, full of people who brag about how wonderful they are and how much personality matters most, but are too perfect to even reply to an email. Then, you see these people still looking three months later. Personally, I emailed a couple of different members. One seemed interested, but then stopped communicating like he fell off the edge of the square Earth. Another emailed quite a bit, talked on the phone for a few hours and then did the same. He also kept changing his age on his profile. I did not lie about any of my info, and find that lying just means he is untrustworthy and not a good match. Advice: Save your money and do some volunteer work. You are more likely to meet quality, worthwhile members of whatever sex you like with more in common and you will be able to base your judgement on real interaction, not a computer on which people can make themselves into whoever and whatever they think others want them to be. Post note: I am dating a wonderful, sweet , normal man whom I met through a friend of mine that he used to work with at a local hospital.

Not happy with Match.com. Met bunch of con artists or loosers without jobs. The guys I chat with ususally are working on projrct which takes them out of the country when they become stranded and need money. I reported one guy to Match.com five times as a con artist but they kept him on I suppose so he would sign up for another month. They aotomaticly renewed my subscription for another six months so I would have more chance to encounter more con artist. I believe in those six months I turned in at least 10 of them. And yes Match.com doesn't care about any ones security the guy who the kept on after my five complaints treaten me in a chat since I refused to send him money. Match.com is full of low lifes and I think they use free 3 days to see whom they could hook. I suggested that for Match.com torename their site to Match.con since they are reaping people as much as the con artist who are on their site. On scale from 0 to 10 I give Match.com -10. The most horable site
Watch out folks they renew your memebership without letting you know they need to be put out of bussiness.

I signed up with Match.com in early spring, 2011. I found that the majority men given as daily matches (in total, 5 personal matches, as I was "too picky" in my requirements for men, were from the States, eastern or western Canada -- not much use to someone in Saskatchewan. That said, I did manage to connect with three or four men from around here who seemed nice. Two ended up being pretty scary, but two others seemed to have promise, which brings me to the problem I ran into.

A week ago, they notified me that my password had been changed and asked that I contact them immediately if I had not done this. Every night since then, I have attempted to contact them and tell them that I did not make any changes. I have submitted to almost every "link" they have on their "contact us" page which promises to be in contact with me withing 24 hours. I have yet to hear from them. Meanwhile, the man I was just beginning to communicate with must assume that I am not interested in him as I have not responded to his email.

The administration obviously is not interested in rectifying this problem, I assume as my subscription/membership is covered till the end of the anniversary of my joining. They don't seem to care who they send matches to as long as everything is paid for.

Good luck if you join this site. I wish you a good result, but should someone manage to hack your membership and change your information, know that you will have no luck getting any kind of a response from Match.com.
